　　Sarah and her team were attracted by the strong historical atmosphere as soon as they got in the Yuelu Academy. They were so intrigued in the stories behind.

　　一进入岳麓书院，莎拉一行人立即被这里浓厚的历史氛围所吸引，他们很想知道书院背后的故事。

　　Sarah: Sun, what does this couplet on the front gate say?

　　莎拉：小孙，请问大门口的对联是什么意思？

　　Xiaosun: It means “Chu State is the cradle of talents while the most of them cluster here.” Yuelu Academy is one of the oldest schools in the world, and it’s more than 1000 years old.

　　小孙：这副对联的意思是“惟楚有才，于斯为盛”。岳麓书院是世界上最古老的学府之一，距今已经有一千多年的历史了。

　　Danny: Over 1,000 years? That’s incredible!

　　丹尼：一千多年？真的吗！

　　Xiaosun: Here, every courtyard, every stone tablet and every piece of brick and tile has survived a thousand years and is lucky enough to be preserved, or else we wouldn’t have the chance to meet them.

　　小孙：这里的每个院子、每块石碑、每块砖瓦，都经过了千年时光的历练，幸好得以保存，如今才能和我们见面。

　　Sarah: This feels really wonderful.

　　莎拉：这种感觉真的太奇妙了。

　　The visit soon came to an end without them knowing it. They came to the exit.

　　不知不觉参观就结束了。莎拉一行人来到出口。

　　Xiaosun: There it is, the exit!

　　小孙：前面就是出口啦！

　　Sarah: Thank you for your amazing guide. It’s really incredible to get to see a place with such a long history, and you really help us make a connection with it.

　　莎拉：感谢你精彩的讲解！这样悠久的历史真的太不可思议了，你的讲解真的帮我们融入了这里。

　　Xiaosun: Thank you! It’s my pleasure. Let’s keep going up to the top, and there we can have an overview of the whole Changsha city.

　　小孙：谢谢！这是我应该做的。接下来，我们继续爬岳麓山吧，在山顶还可以俯瞰长沙呢。

　　Danny: Sun, could you please show me where the bathroom is?

　　丹尼：小孙，卫生间在哪里呀？

　　Xiaosun: Go along this road and turn right at the end, and you’ll see one.

　　小孙：这条路走到尽头，右转，就可以看到了。

　　Danny: Thank you so much!

　　丹尼：谢谢!
